Foundation on God

I took a course in college that changed my life, it was NEW TESTAMENT taught by a Roman Catholic priest. When i signed up for the course I figured it would be cool to be able to study the Bible in class as I had recently gotten serious about my call into ministry. Well little did I know that my professor would tear the bible the shreds. He didnt not take it as infalliable or inerrent. He thought it was all good ideas but nothing close to what God would actually write. I was in over my head to say the least and every monday, wednesday, and friday morning from 9:00 - 9:50 that semester i felt like i was getting beat up spiritually. I know that Satan wanted to use it to steer me away from ministry but it made me even hungrier for God to teach me. I read, studied, and listened to solid bliblical teaching on those subjects that I felt were being attacked. I so desire in student ministry to equip and prepare students for the battles that lie ahead. I want students to know tge
*Voice of God
*Word of God
*Heart of God
I think if we can do that we will see a new generation of teens rise up and take on the world for Jesus Christ.

Ready for the Launch

I am Bobby Greenwood, who is blessed to be one of the student pastors at FBC Texarkana. God is doing some incredible things and to be able to be a part of it in the seat of ministry is so humbling. There is nothing I have ever done to be a part of this and yet God has called me and my family to something so great for His kingdom. I am excited to see what the future holds and the lives that will continure to turn and grow toward Him.
